MUSE · Lesson 7 of 17
Producing the film
After this you can read the cost sheet, choose how it renders, and get a finished cut.
This lesson is written but not yet recorded. Everything below still applies, so open MUSE and follow along.
- 1
Produce quotes before it charges. Every line is listed (video by scene, narration, music, assembly) with the total and a rough render time.
- 2
Sequence renders one scene at a time. Hybrid renders independent scenes together: faster, at a surcharge, and only offered when the film's scenes do not open on each other's final frames.
- 3
The run narrates itself as it goes. If an engine fails a shot the film pauses and asks rather than silently switching, so you always know which engine rendered what.
Your turn
- 1.Open a film with at least one keyframe and press Produce.
- 2.Read every line on the cost sheet before confirming.
- 3.Pick Sequence or Hybrid, and note what the sheet says the choice costs.
